This is a high level strategic role where you will be guiding, influencing and partnering Group Directors and members of the development team.

Key objectives of the role will be to direct and manage operational business development activity to grow the business and strategically review the power sector and prepare, in consultation with others, a five year strategy addressing the following - - Market Potential, need & tactics,- Product & Service development,- Skills & people development It is essential that you have a proven business development record in the UK Power sector. A strong track record in managing client relations and business development skills is needed to take on overall responsibility for the overall growth of business in the Power sector. You must have a clear understanding of the drivers and structure of the sector along with good access to significant and relevant customers.

It is likely that you will possess an excellent science and engineering degree and be fluent in English. Our business developers are confident, self motivated and target driven, capable of working under own initiative. They will have at least three years’ experience of B2B sales and a demonstrable track record of success. They will thrive on the opportunity to sell to some of Europe’s leading blue chip companies at board level.

An ability to work to strict deadlines is essential as is an attitude that does not accept failure as an option. Experience of the European Commission’s Framework Programmed would be desirable.
